Here is the background....
I was reluctant to start a blog because 1) before we had kids I figured no one really cared to hear about how John and I pretty much went to school and work everyday and 2) the internet can be a crazy place.
When Abigail was born, I figured it was a great reason to finally start a blog - which would allow me to keep a journal of our family adventures and keep all who wanted to be up to date on Abigail. I had fully intended to make it a private blog for more security, but felt like I needed to keep it public because of all of the people who looking at it for updates - even people through my parents and such.
Lately, I have been getting really weird comments - sometimes even written in another language. I thought I had my comments set-up to restrict certain things, but yet these weird comments show up.
I am torn on whether to go private or continue to leave it public.... What do you think?

Summer Time, Fun Time!
We continue to have a busy, but very fun summer. We seem to be thankfully staying away from anymore ear infections - and hope it continues. Abigail just keeps acting more grown-up all the time. Her favorite word seems to be "Appy" - which she will walk around saying. It seems to mean both "Happy" and "Abby". She is singing and dancing more and more and tries to imitate much of what we say. She is, unfortunately, having more crying fits and time outs, but we guess that comes as age two approaches.
She loves playing with other kids and has a smile that continues to melt our hearts. And, as I have said so many times before, we are just so grateful for her. With the wedding we have seen many people we don't normally see and they have been pleasantly surprised by how big Abigail is and how well she is doing.
I hope to one day soon get my hands on some wedding pictures, but this is the only I have - because I took it with my phone. While we were setting up my niece was pushing her brother around. During clean-up Abigail thought it would be fun!
Abigail is still loving her purses and hat and now loving the stroller and dolls. She is starting to call them babies.
Abigail has become quite attached to her Daddy lately!! It is very cute!! She has certain things she insists upon doing with just me or him (for some reason we can't do each other's jobs - like her nightly sippy cup of milk is almost always sitting with me, despite John's efforts to try and do it)
We had some cousins over for lunch and swimming. Abigail loves playing with her cousins.
She is still in love with helping in the kitchen - so we have to be even more careful when using the stove.
She can entertain herself with the funniest things.

We took a day trip to Payson for a picnic. We went to the Rim Country Museum and Zane Grey Cabin. It was lots of fun, and the weather was beautiful!! The above picture shows Abigail grinding corn at the museum.

With how fast she fell asleep and how "out" she was for the drive home -- we figured she had had a great time!!

Good-bye, June
June sure flew by, but Tiffany and Jefferson's wedding was beautiful. We still have the reception here, but the Open House in Thatcher was nice. We are very tired, but had a couple of weeks to recover before the reception.
Abigail continues to be a busy little girl. She is just growing up so fast!!
She is about 25 1/2 lbs, is about 32 inches tall, and she is working on teeth #13, 14, 15, and 16. She is getting better and better at so many little skills. She amazes John and I all the time with what she can do. She loves to sing and dance. You should see her when the "Hannah Montana" or "Phineas and Ferb" theme songs come on. She also has a growing list of favorite songs: We hear "E-I-E-I-E" - with "whooo" recently becoming audible at the end. She does actions for "Itsy-Bitsy Spider" and "Popcorn "Popping". She does the head and shoulders for "Head, Shoulders, Knees and Toes". She can also point to her eyes, nose and mouth. We hear clapping and "App, App" for "If You're Happy and You Know It". She rolls her arms for "Wheels on the Bus" and it sounds like "ound and ound" in rhythm. Last night we noticed she was saying what sounded like "Up and Down" and and she was going up and down on her tip-toes. She does some of the actions for "Pat-a-Cake" and I am sure I am forgetting something. I asked one of her nursery teachers if she does much of that while in nursery -- not really.... Sounds good!! She saves it all for us and we love it!!
She is getting better at feeding herself with a fork and spoon and has recently been trying to be more daring with her travels down the stairs (We are still working on that.) She loves to brush her teeth and pretty much tries to imitate what we do.
Her lungs are continuing to be okay, but we are still on medicine. We have a new treatment, which is so much shorter to give. Our latest issue is her four ear infections in the last three months. Yay for us - poor little girl. Her latest one she was just inconsolable for a couple of hours. It was so sad.
This morning she was just so heart-broken when Daddy told her she needed to stay downstairs while he went up stairs to get ready... so sad, but cute!!
She thinks it's fun to stick her hands under the bathroom door for us to get... it is pretty cute, though!
She had lots of fun dress shopping with her Aunt Tiff.
Abigail has become quite the climber and looks for opportunities to get into whatever we may have been unwise enough to leave out.
Having fun on the piano -- She likes to play both mine and hers (and the ones at both grandparents). However, she is starting to use her little one as a stepping (climbing) stool.
She loves helping me in the kitchen-which is usually fun for me! but I love it!!
Can you tell she enjoyed what she ate? If you ask her if she wants to eat, her "yes" response consists of running to her chair with excitement. She enjoys folding her arms to bless the food - and often does so if the room gets quiet. We are starting to hear "Amen" sometimes, too.
